5.5 km walk Around Stavrovouni peak

​This is an almost circular walk mainly from the south side of Stavrouvouni peak, with total ascents and descents of about 400 meters each. The highlight of the walk is of course the panoramic vistas, especially from the top of Stavrovouni peak. The vegetation in the area is dominated by schrubs like rockrose, while at the same time there is a significant number of (planted) pines and olives. This walk is perfect for those who want a short walk from Larnaca, and especially for summer, provided one starts early to avoid the scorging sun.

For those who want a more composite experience, we recommend the 13 km walk that ends at Stazousa monastery and adds a significant cultural aspects to the experience.
