
Self-Guided Walking Trips from Drousheia village
Drousheia village is a well preserved stone-built village found on the Laona Plateau at an elevation of about 600 meters. It borders the Akamas peninsula and offers the opportunities to explore some beautiful natural and cultural attractions in Cyprus. There are a number of possible interesting walking routes that one can easily experience from Drousheia, most of which are circular. For those who want to have yet more experiences on beautiful walk in Cyprus, we offer self-guided walking trips from Drousheia. These focus on a peak on the Akamas north coast called Moutti tis Sotiras and on the area around the village of Lysos, which borders Paphos Forest. Besides the longer versions, we offer shorter ones that for most people would be fine to experience even during hot Cyprus summer, provided the walkers start early.
