Service Description

Explore one of the most scenic rocky coasts in Cyprus! Ages 18+ Duration 5 hours (including free ride time) About The Trip: It is a coastal sea exploration trip through kayaking and snorkeling. We usually use recreational sitontop kayaks. No kayaking experience is needed for fun exploration of some of the most scenic coastlines in Cyprus. The water is usually crystal clear with light blue colours. Height limit of 1.90 cm and weight limit of 100 kg. We may be able to accommodate bigger kayakers (we have to discuss in advance). Meeting time: At 09:15 Meeting location: At Lover's Bridge in Ayia Napa. Otherwise at an agreed location (in Ayia Napa, Protaras or Larnaca). The guide may offer a free ride in our company's car (which holds private insurance). Itinerary: We start at Limnara beach and kayak east 1.5 km upto the Cape Greko Sea Caves cove and back. After the kayaking we drive by car for a short distance and snorkel in Ayia Napa Sea Caves. The trip is offered from June 1st until the end of October. More info The basic kayaking route: To Cape Greco Sea Caves cove and back (3 km / 2 mi). The absolute minimum for those who want to experience the beautiful caves (the locals call them ‘Palaces’). Usually we go a bit further east. Basic snorkeling route: Around 500 m along (and inside some of the) Ayia Napa Sea Caves and back. Transportation: None is included (we usually offer a free ride from Ayia Napa, Protaras, Larnaca) What's included? The use of a (usually sitontop recreational) single kayak, paddle, pfd, snorkel and mask, drybag (if customers require one) Guiding the kayaking and snorkeling trip Exclusions Food & drinks Please note Confirmation will be received at time of booking Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. Each kayak has a listed maximum capacity of at least 125 kg. The ride will probably not be comfortable for payloads of more than 100 kg. The ride would be comfortable for people upto 1.90 m. Travelers can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity. In case of forecasted choppy sea the trip is cancelled (with full refund). Other options may be offered (eg reschedule, an alternative kayaking & snorkeling trip on the east coast if the sea is good there). Usually the trip is guided by Phivos in the English language. What to bring Water is a must. Also sea shoes or similar. Sun protection, bathing suite, towels.
