Our Cyprus Walks selection
Cyprus is the homeland of Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of love and beauty. The island is beautiful. It has considerable habitat variety for its size and is rich in biodiversity. Its countryside is dotted with cultural attractions, including medieval chapels and bridges, watermills, well-preserved traditional stone-built village and more, providing possibilities for designing walks that have a rich combination of beautiful nature and cultural attractions. Moderate climate and safety make it an excellent destination for walkers.
Walk difficulty
As there is no universal system that rates walking routes according to their difficulty level, we composed and use our own rating system for all the walks that we present, as well as for the multi-day walking trips that we promote.
Cyprus Walks Etc introduces a selection of lovely day walks on the whole island, from Karpasia to Akamas, from Pentadactylos to Troodos and from Kyreneia to Cape Greco.
The collection below includes photos of walks that we consider beautiful on our Cyprus. Some of the routes are rather unique on the island, eg Artemis Trail, Madari trail, Cedar Valley or the White Cliffs of Pissouri. Others, like the walk in Platy Valley or Ezousa Valley are representative of different lovely habitats found in Cyprus.
We would like to invite you to explore our beautiful Cyprus. Cyprus Walks Etc operates standard bookable self-guided trips for some of the walking routes. We also offer standard bookable guided walking trips for some of the routes. At the same time, we organise customised guided walking trips for a big selection of routes in Cyprus (you are welcomed to discuss your trip with us via email , whatsapp chat, or phone).

Note on the ratings
One should use the above rating system with caution. The expected duration of the walks is an estimate and doesnot include breaks. Also, people have different walking styles so it doesnot mean that the rating as accurate for everyone. Furthermore, for the steepness rating, it should be clear that these present averages for the whole route. It is very possible that there are specific stretches in the routes that are considerably steeper ascents or descents compared with the averages.
