Guided Kayaking Trips - by start
(and for bigger groups also during the weekend)
Cyprus Walks Etc offers guided walking, kayaking, snorkelling and milti-activity exploration throughout the beautiful island of Cyprus. We offer private kayaking trips along many coastlines on the island (eg Ayia Napa, Cape Greco, Aphrodites Rock and White Cliffs, North Akamas coast) and in most cases (and for groups with fewer than five members) we are able to provide a free ride from specific starting locations. We have a collection of suggested standard itineraries (which can nevertheless be fine tuned - subject to an agreement between Cyprus Walks Etc and the visitors).
For private kayaking trips, Cyprus Walks Etc offers usually three or four hour trips. Usually we use recreational sit-on-top kayaks (for upto six kayakers). These are fine and fun when the sea is calm and/or the weight of the kayakers is under 100 kg. We also stock sea touring (Pakayak Blue Fin) kayaks. We use the sea touring kayaks when the kayakers are more experienced, and with these we can compose more exotic kayaking trips away from the south east coast of Cyprus (eg trips to Lara coast, the Pomos coast, the Akrotiri coast). We have a capacity for two participants in the sea touring kayaks and for upto six participants (with no free ride) for our sit-on top kayaking trips (under international best practices) or upto four participants with possible free ride.
Note: It should be noted that our guided services are focused on exploration and unless stated explicitly, do not include paid transportation. Please note that our guides in most (but not all) cases can offer free transportation to travellers (since they will be transporting our kayaks to the kayaking coast), but there is no added insurance for this, except for the usual private car insurance).
As a rule Phivos Ioannides leads the trips in English or Greek.

Before working in authentic ecotourism he studied computing (UK) and later business (in the US), and worked for many years in retail banking, finance and consulting.
He has written popular travel guide books on Cyprus and led many hundreds of walking trips, hundreds of kayaking trips and snorkeling trips around the island. He is the creator and manager of CyprusWalksEtc.
Besides his native Greek, Phivos speaks English fluently as well as good Spanish and German. He also speaks some French and Chinese (Mandarin).
