Guided Snorkeling Trips
Cyprus has coastlines that are great for ecofriendly coastal sea exploration trips
According to Greek mytholody, Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born in Cyprus, just off the coast, in the Paphian waters at a location called 'Petra tou Romiou'. Cyprus relation to the goddess of beauty is probably a testament to the island's good looks.
Cyprus 650 km (400 mi) long coastline has various amazing golden or white sand beaches (eg near Agia Napa, Protaras and Akamas), many of which are considered to be among the best in the Mediterranean sea. Long rocky stretches, with various formations and colours, sea caves and natural bridges, a number of islets and even remote, empty sandy beaches, beg for the visitors' exploration.
Crystal clear, calm and warm water along many of the stretches and for big periods around the year make coastal sea exploration relatively easy and very inviting. The presence of welcomed animals like (migrating) water birds and sea turtles (and a few Mediterranean - Monachus monachus - monk seals, though it is extremely rare to spot any) further enriches the experience of the coastal sea explorer and the snorkeler.
Who is leading these trips?
Phivos is guiding the trips. Phivos is a licenced diver and has a lifeguard certificate, he is a guide for kayaking trips, a speedboat driver. He also attended a sailing course. He is involved in underwater photography and is a Cyprus native (and walking guide) who has written travel books on Cyprus. He has been snorkeling in these waters for decades. He is fluent in Greek and English, he speaks good Spanish and German and elementary French and Chinese (Mandarin).

Our Guided Snorkeling trips
Our standard trip combines the exploration of the Agia Napa Sea Caves complex as well as turtle spotting around Konnos beach (if time permits we add also other stretches of the coast). There are other routes around Cyprus where we sometimes guide travellers. Of course we can design customised trips for interested explorers. We offer full-day and multi-day Snorkeling trips (that can very nicely be fit with our kayaking trips), as well as multi-day multi-activity packages that include also walking and/or exploration by car. If insterested, you are welcome to talk to us (or email us) about us assisting you in your guided coastal sea exploration of Cyprus.
