2016 - Cyprus Walks Etc was one of three finalists for the CSTI award in 2016

Oleastro and  The Wine Museum were the other two finalists.  We are thankful for the recognition and happy for the exposure.

2017 - Storax Ecoprojects ltd is registered

From September 2017, the operations of Cyprus Walks Etc are transferred to a newly registered company, Storax Ecoprojects ltd. Storax is a tree found naturally in many parts of Cyprus ('Στύραξ' in Greek and 'Στερατζιά' in the Greek Cypriot dialect, especially but not exclusively, in valleys, close to the riverbed. It bears beautiful white flowers and green non-edible fruit.  Its wood is highly prized and the fruit has been used since antiquity for medicinal purposes. In 2017 Storax extended its network of associates to include an Israeli operator.

2018 - Extending our network of associates

Cyprus Walks Etc has been steadily expanding its base of customers and associates. In 2018 it entered into cooperation among others with a Swedish and a German operator.

2019 -  escooter exploration to be added to our services

We received our first specialised escooters in  September 2019. We are planning to add self-guided and guided escooter exploration in our menu of services, as we believe that escooters provide an environmentally friendly, fun way to explore beautiful Cyprus.

​Our operations are steadily expanding, with autumn 2019 being the busiest season Cyprus Walks Etc had to date.

2020 -​ Hit by the pandemic - offer also snorkelling trips

​As it happened around the world, our operations came to an abrupt stall from March 2020. 2020 was of course an irregular season for Cyprus Walks Etc, which nevertheless gave us teh opportunity to develop and test new services.

From September 2020 we are offering snorkelling trips around Cyprus and we have the relevant equipment (of course also to regards safety).

2021 - after the pandemic, expand our menu, include self-guided trail running

We added self-guided trail running/long walking to our menu of services

From 2022 we are offering guided kayaking trips along beautiful stretches of Cyprus coastline. We offer standard trips along the Agia Napa Sea Caves and the Cape Greko Sea Caves, as well as along the east coast of Cape Greko. The service has proved very popular and we are adding two more kayaks (taking the maximum number of guided kayakers to four).

In 2022 we expanded our network or associates further, and composed new self-guided walking packages, especially ones exclusively around the Akamas peninsula and others exclusively around Troodos mountains.

In late 2022 our multilingual website is scheduled to be launched.

From 2023 we plan to offer multi-day kayaking trips to Cyprus, multi-day Cyprus walking trips as well as adventure trips that combine the exploration by land, on the coastal waters as well as under the coastal waters (snorkelling).   ​

​We forecast a steep increase in our business after the end of the pandemic.
