Panagia to Sinti - Roudias medieval bridge Walk
This is a beautiful walk in the Xeros Potamos Valley connecting Roudias medieval bridge and Panagia tou Sinti Monastery.
The walk crosses the river a few times, and one needs to be careful, especially between January and April when there may be significant water flow. This is possibly the best walk on its kind in Cyprus, combining open space, biodiversity, tranquility and absence of human presence together with rich examples of Cyprus cultural heritage. The walk is about 10 km long and also passes close to Ais Yiannis cliffs. Walkers may be lucky to spot griffon vultures (some still nest at the cliffs), once common in Cyprus but now a rare species on the island.
