Cyprus Adventures - multi-day multi-activity guided trips
Cyprus has coastlines that are great for ecofriendly coastal sea exploration trips
According to Greek mytholody, Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born in Cyprus, just off the coast, in the Paphian waters at a location called 'Petra tou Romiou'. Cyprus relation to the goddess of beauty is probably a testament to the island's good looks.
Cyprus 650 km (400 mi) long coastline has various amazing golden or white sand beaches (eg near Agia Napa, Protaras and Akamas), many of which are considered to be among the best in the Mediterranean sea. Long rocky stretches, with various formations and colours, sea caves and natural bridges, a number of islets and even remote, empty sandy beaches, beg for the visitors' exploration.
Crystal clear, calm and warm water along many of the stretches and for big periods around the year make coastal sea exploration relatively easy and very inviting. The presence of welcomed animals like (migrating) water birds and sea turtles (and a few Mediterranean - Monachus monachus - monk seals, though it is extremely rare to spot any) further enriches the experience of the coastal sea explorer.
Most of the best kayaking routes are found along coasts that are also excellent for exploration on foot. Two of the areas that stand out are Akamas in the north west and Cape Greko in the south east part of Cyprus. Other places for great, yet more wild and difficult hiking are Xylofagou coast and the route between Pissouri bay and Aphrodite's Rock.
Because the island is relatively small, it would be quite possible to compose multi-activity trips that include kayaking with inland walking (eg travellers staying in Larnaca or Nicosia and walking on Troodos and kayaking in Cape Greko.

Our Guided Multi-day multi-activity adventures
Our standard multi-day adventures take place in the areas of Akamas and Cape Greko. Both of these are beautiful places, with Akamas being the largest of the two. If one would like to have more than one day of (relatively easy) walking, Akamas being larger is the most suitable. If one would like to have more that one day of (relatively easy) kayaking then Cape Greko would be the most suitable. Please remember that besides our standard trips we can compose many other multi-activity trips for Cyprus adventurers.
